Beautiful hiking area around 1.5 km around the Karlsgraben. The canal is approx. 300 m long, the ramparts are still present with a lot of forest. It's nice, but very quiet here. There is no snack in the immediate vicinity, but there is a public toilet. The nearby exhibition explains everything about the Karlsgraben and its creator, Emperor Karl the Great.
Well ... a water hole ...
For avid history lovers only.
Best carp .... great service!
Always interesting what was tried in the eighth century. It was not until the last century that it was implemented with the Main-Danube Canal.
Very interesting
Simple kitchen and clear menu. The bratwurst with sauerkraut is highly recommended. The pork cutlets were a little salty. But therefor cheap prices and a beer garden with playground (swing and sandpit).
You can drive or run around nicely
Too bad, this place is part of our history that you can touch, but over the centuries this place has been largely returned to nature.
Hike to a historic building in a beautiful landscape is very worthwhile
Delicious
Cozy inn. Good bourgeois, Franconian cuisine. You have to make reservations on Sundays.
Typical Frankish, sober friendly, great price performance, large portions and good quality !!
Cozy gastronomy and beautiful garden. Food and snacks always good and cheap.
Family business. It works together. Always friendly, only recommended ..
absolutely worth seeing in terms of the time history. It is wonderful, even with children, hiking around the resulting geotope. Parking at the two ends, even a relatively clean toilet house is right on the Graben, stop in the beer garden in place.
The wait is worthwhile. Delicious food is brought by friendly staff. Extremely well we liked the quiet beer garden next to the food and drink!
Came in the afternoon and ate a schnitzel and a Vesperplatte. Both were very good. Were in the beer garden, where you sit very nice. Gladly again.
Very good rural inn. Fast and very friendly boss as a waitress! Eating takes a while - but you like to wait longer because everything is freshly prepared and tastes very good! We had the Schwabenpfännchen! And schnitzel with french fries - fresh from the pan and not from the deep fryer as usual! Delicious! Inexpensive in the best sense of the word!
Simply without words. You hadn't even sat down and were literally intercepted and asked what to drink. No hello, nothing! Then the drinks were simply put down. Sorry, it was noon on Sunday and we weren't even asked if we want to eat or have the menu. This is one of the basics in gastronomy. Instead, when asked, it was said that no one could have guessed that one would also want to eat something. Incomprehensible. Then it turned out that there was a baptism at the same time. Sure, a lot going on because of that and of course understanding. But it is also not an event of the century like the flood of 1999 for which one cannot be prepared. Overall quite snotty. In the end, the "service staff" just got around the corner and turned around a bit. Not recommendable.
Fantastic place. Schnitzel for 9 euro och really caring staff. A must visit!
